Kukke Subramanya Swamy Temple
This temple is famous Hindu temple located in the village "Subramanya". Lord kartikeya, The son of lord Shiva is worshipped as Subramanya swamy who is lord of all serpents.
In kukke subramanya swamy temple there 2 important and special pooja conducted for sarpa dosham and kuja dosham.
1. Ashlesha Bali Pooja.
2. Sarpa Samskara Pooja.
Ashlesha Bali Pooja
This pooja is performed for those who is having kalasarpa dosham in their birth time can do this pooja at kukke subramanya swamy temple. Lord subramanya swamy will protect them from this kalasarpa dosha and kuja dosha.
Every month on "Ashlesha Nakshatram" this Ashlesha bali pooja will be performed. There are two shifts 7.00 am and at 9.15 am. those who perform this pooja need to report for sankalpa for temple purohits. Devotees believe shravana masam, karthika masam, and margashira masam are the most auspicious months to perform this Ashlesha bali pooja at kukke Subramanya swamy temple.
Sarpa Samskara / Sarpa Dosha Pooja
This pooja is performed by devotees at this temple to get rid of sarpa dosham. Pooja can be done either by afflicted person or by his wife/husband if he is married person. This pooja is performed at day time.
